On Tuesday, some students from the Thrive department took part in a local Cost of Living event where they were able to talk to a variety of different employers regarding opportunities for volunteering. They were also able to find out more information about how they as young people can be supported outside of the college by services such as Mencap. The event was a great success and students were complimented on how well they communicated with members of the public’.
