The Freedom of Information Act 2000 provides a right of access to a wide range of information held by public authorities. You can seek any recorded information that you think we may hold.
Your request must be in writing and can be either posted or emailed to us. For postal requests, please send to the following address:

The Freedom of Information Act 2000 requires all Public Authorities (including schools) to produce a register of the types of information it will routinely make available to the public. This publication scheme follows a template approved by the Information Commissioner.

Subject Requests
Under data protection law, the Data Protection Act 2018 and GDPR individuals have rights including the right to know what information is held about them and the right to access that information. More information is provided in our privacy notice below

Requests to exercise your data protection rights may be made in writing, by email, or by speaking to us. For copies of your personal information, you may need to provide information to verify your identity and an indication of what information you are requesting will enable us to locate this in an efficient manner.

Statement about the processing of biometric data

This statement confirms that, at the Hive College, we do not store or process any form of biometric data, such as fingerprints or retina scans.

If the college does decide to store or process biometric data, a policy will be implemented for the processing of such data, which would be made available on the college website. Any changes made to the college’s position on the processing of biometric data will be clearly communicated to all staff, parents and pupils.
