Fifteen Hive students have been learning about First Aid, led by Rob Turner of West Midlands Fire Service. They are learning what to do if they find someone who is unconscious, not breathing, bleeding or choking. After two weeks the students will take an assessment and hope to be awarded an Emergency First Aid certificate. This forms part of the students’ independent living education on Fridays.
